Messenger Badge Tutorial (Intermediate)

The Facebook Messenger Badge is a sign that you're actively listening and managing your own Facebook page. A sure fire way to tell someone isn't responsive is the absence of any comments or the brand not engaging with its customers.

First off, I decided to rank this as "Intermediate" because of a few different factors. One being that you aren't always available to answer your incoming Facebook Messages. In this case, outsourcing a dedicated employee would be beneficial to help you achieve the Messenger Badge.

This is a very simple tutorial. It only has two steps but the benefits you can gain from having this button "on" are tremendous!

Messenger Badge

Step 1

Turn on your Facebook Pages notifications to stay on top of your messaging and maintain a response rate of 90%.

Step 2

Get you answers out quick! You can create an auto responder to buy you a little of tim but at the end of the day, people want to talk to someone real.

You must respond within 15 minutes.

Things like Social Listening and getting your Messenger Badge turned on is a step in the right direction.

Is it the only thing you need to do?

Nope, there are a ton of things you need to implement in your page but training yourself or someone else to handle Facebook Messages quickly and accurately is something that needs to be done.
